Downtown Lee's Summit
Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. at Howard Station Park and end at 10:00 p.m. The park is located in Downtown Lees Summit at the corner of Third and SE Main Street. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
9/8 - 9/12 - Barnum & Bailey's Circus
Sprint Center
Featuring 130 performers from 6 continents along with pirates, cowboys, and mermaids- it's a super-sized spectacle so massive you just can't miss it!
9/11 - Apple Festival
First Baptist Church of Raytown

If you think the Apple Festival is just another craft fair, think again! The Apple Festival is an annual fundraising and family event that benefits the children of Missouri Baptist Children's Home. Be sure to visit the Apple Festival for crafts, quilts, a kids' area, and apple-related foods.

9/12/10 MOPS Traditional Family Picnic
Starts at 4:30pm (We'll eat at 5:00pm) LSCC Pavillion
We will be playing games and having a fabulous time! Hot dogs, burgers, lemonade and water will be provided by MOPS. If your last name begins with A-L, please bring a side dish. M-Z, bring dessert. More information to come...check for details. Cost: Free

9/17/10 Lee's Summit Municipal Airport Tour and picnic
We will meet at the main office building at 10:00am and have a tour that will include variety of items to touch, learning, and seeing a real airplane. There is a grassy area outside one of the buildings where we can have a picnic following the tour. The tour takes about an hour. Bring your own lunch and blanket to sit on. Cost: Free.

The sea lion show starts at 10am, so we'll meet there. Following the show, we will head toward Australia first, so look for us that way if you're running late! Cost: $11.50 - adult; $8.50 - children, 3-11; there may be discounts if we can ensure 20+ people in our group. Please reply to your evite, and look for updates.
